Upon these cultures lied Mesopotamia, known as the " cradle of civilization, ” and Old Egypt. Both of these civilizations blossomed in their ancient times due to their political, sociable, and social advancements. Both Mesopotamia and Historic Egypt started to be known as many of the most powerful and influential cultures known to man.

The planet's first civilization was derived from Mesopotamia and inhabited by Sumerians. Ancient Mesopotamia was located between Tigris and Euphrates streams. The Sumerians were intellectual people, as they discovered the application of irrigation through levees to make a year round supply of food. This resulted in an everlasting stay of the people instead of moving from place to place for foodstuff and depending on the climate. This kind of stability produced the first Mesopotamian govt, the city-state. The center of the city-state contains a brow and public building plus they governed themselves as well as created social classes. Blacksmiths, maqui berry farmers, politicians and priests were examples of these types of social classes but due to major system structure, the ziggurat, in which only priests were allowed inside, priests were viewed as a large social standing up.
