The importance of research in nursing is nurses will be accepting the need to base particular nursing actions and decisions on research evidence proving the fact that the activities are medically appropriate (Polit & Beck, 2012). Nursing theorist offers paved the way intended for the nursing profession. Breastfeeding theorists provides guided and open the doorway for study. Some of the first theorist offers helped progressed and shaped the research through the past to the current and will still do so in the foreseeable future. Research has well guided the way healthcare professionals incorporate and implement nursing jobs care and practice. One of the initial pioneers of nursing was Florence Nightingale. Florence Nightingale theory has guided analysis which gave the nursing profession to open other avenues to be seemed for future research. Florencia Nightingale can be considered the mom of modern nursing jobs; she synthesized information collected in many of her your life experiences to assist in the progress modern nursing (George, 2011). During the Crimean War Florence Nightingale self volunteered to help with all the nursing tasks, this is where your woman attended to and took care of the sick and wounded troops. Florence Nightingale would usually the unwell and troops at all several hours of the evening making sure we were holding taken care of and obtaining adequate food, medication and water. This is when she used the identity as the lady with the light fixture. Florence observed that the circumstances the military were in were considered unacceptable and horrible; the soldiers would not have the materials they required to survive. With her background as a nurse she used her know-how and education to gather info and information for figures.
