Organizations have already been progressively developing more and more the social responsibility in their administration practices.
With this paper all of us will try to show the changes that contain occurred around the 100 biggest companies in Portugal, between 2007 and 2011, analysing their functionality in what things to the Company Social Responsibility (CSR).
This research was conducted, following a guidelines of the Global Report Initiative (GRI), which let us to identify the overall performance in terms of answers given to numerous aspects just like environment, work practices, human being rights, world and item liability. It is vital to understand that nowadays, more than ever before, the firms are looking a growing number of deeply towards the questions related to CSR, as possible used being a mean to determine themselves like a key gamer on the community they're in. The first study produced in 2007 offers achieved a few interesting items regarding the kind of reports that each sector will. It was conceivable to verify that the sector of industrial goods distribution was the one that most reported regarding society and environmental performance, the constructions and community works sector, in terms of labour practices and human privileges, and at previous, but not least, the transport sector, in terms of reporting merchandise liability. While the world advances every day, and so the concerns regarding this topic as well change. The companies need, and really should, to change their very own politics, and the areas in which they should commit their work with CSR.
