struggle of hastings

 battle of hastings Composition

The Battle of Hastings was fought in 14th Oct 1066 -- shortly after California king Edward the Confessor of England perished – between Harold Godwinson of Britain and Bill of Normandy. The struggle was battled on Senlac Hill about 10km southwest of Hastings. The conflict started because when Edward died, he left simply no heir to inherit the crown, which usually left 3 men declaring to be the following King of England. These types of three prospects to the throne were Harold Godwinson (the Earl of Wessex) who was the only Englishman and relevant to the old california king by marriage; Harald Hadrada (the California king of Norway) whose ascendants were assured the throne by Ruler Cnut, and William the Conqueror (the Duke of Normandy) who had been the only contender that was related to Full Edward by simply blood. William's males also had better armour and weapons, one example is: the cavalry were most equipped with mail hauberk, there exists some evidence that archers used crossbows in addition to bows and arrows, a few battle maces were also used along with spears and swords, rounded shields and kite molded shields. This meant that the Normans had been more shielded from the British, than the English were from their store as well; while...
